Tommy is one!!! I love this sweet boy so much! This week while the girls were out at school, Tommy and I were reading together. One book we read was about Daniel in the Lion's Den. While reading, I had a moment when my heart was full and my eyes full of tears as I expressed to Tommy that just as Daniel did hard things (like go into a Lion's Den), Tommy will do hard things, but can with the help of Heavenly Father. He sends angels on this side and the other. With that power, we can do hard things.

Here are some things Tommy is doing:

- LOVES birds, dogs, bunnies!! Whatever animal we can find outside!! When he sees a bunny he growls because that's the sound he thinks all animals make!! :) What a cutie!

- Is a growler. When he is focusing on something (like using his fingers to do something tricky), he makes a little growl sound. The most growling we hear from him is when he is reading. When he has a book open, he sits there and "reads" the book while he growls. He loves do this and does it for a long time.

- He loves balls. He crawls around the house often whispering "ball." Or when he sees a ball, he says "ball." Often times he'll find a basketball and then go crawl under our indoor team and hold up the ball and wait for us to lift him up to throw in the hoop. But, then he doesn't throw it in the hoop.

- He is so good at blowing kisses. He knows when I say "night Night" he starts blowing kissing and does it on our way up the stairs at everyone. It's pretty cute.

- He loves reading books and looking for animals.

- Some of his favorite songs: 'Popcorn Popping' (he started doing the actions for "popcorn" in that song, "Happy and you know it" "Book of Mormon Stories" "Wise Man and Foolish Man" to name a few. He loves singing Often times it cheers him up.

- He LOVES going outside. If he is upset, we head outside and it usually cheers him up as he starts growling and looking for bunnies or birds or dogs for something.

- He loves to snuggle. Which I love.

His birthday celebration was awesome. We love our Tommy. So much.

He got to drink some apple juice for his birthday :)

The girls had $20 to find gifts from Nana and Ponka (Randy and Carolyn Kim). It was fun watching them spend the money. And we had fun finding a few gifts from our family, too :)

We made  "bird" cake for Tom. Angela made a fantastic tree on the cake.

 CAKE and ICECREAM time!!

We love you, Tommy!!
