May, May - We Love May!

May was a very exciting month - with this sweet girl starting out the fun and turning to a big 3.
At first she couldn't really conquer the three finger hold...
...but by the end of the day, she got it :)
It was a day of Ang-Banang where she got to call all the shots. It started out with fun with one of her best friends (Rowan) over with her siblings. Fun with decorations dad put up and then chocolate chip whole wheat pancakes for breakfast.

The first thing Angela wanted to do was go to Toys R Us and picking out a toy with Ponka and Nana's money. Her face in this picture is worth a million words to explain how she felt about the task ahead of her.
The final pick - perfect for Angela. A purse with all the essentials she needs when she goes out.
Then lunch at McDonald's...

...and then hit the big screen for a dollar movie. It's a random picture here...but shows how I got to hold my birthday girl's hand throughout the movie :) Lucky me.
Then we went home and went for a long bike ride and awaited Daddy coming home for hot dogs, corn on the cob, and french fries (meal picked by Ang)...followed of course by cake and ice cream. And then presents :)

Next big event was this sweety turning a big 5!

The most exciting part for Carolyn I think was her gymnastic themed birthday party. (Front row - Katelyn, Brinley, Micah/Back row- Katie, Anna, Kaylen, Carolyn, Mayci, Angela)

On Carolyn's actual birthday, we hit Toys R Us where Carolyn found her perfect find from Nana and Ponka.
On her actual birthday, Carolyn was excited about her ice cream cake.

Carolyn entertaining Emily with her new fairy barbie doll - Emily loves the shows Carolyn puts on for her with her barbie :) So cute :)

Fun with the slip-and-slide daddy got for the girlies. A big hit - esp. with Angela she couldn't stop smiling and laughing.

We also got to go to Chucky Cheese to help the big birthday celebrations for the girlies.

The 5 of us :)
At the end of May, we went to a horse race! It was so awesome! We've been getting into watching horse racing a little bit as a family and so it was great going to a real race. Something we will continually do - so fun! The girls had a blast and I am happy to report that I won Cafe Rio from beating Andrew in our horse racing predictions. Boo-ya!

Our Summer Schedule!

So, I actually think my computer might be up and running (for now, for now... :) so pictures of May are soon to come! We've been having fun!

I always hesitate to post the schedules the girls and I are on (I know it's sorta weird) - but I think the girls and I love how we spend our days together and I want to remember how my days were filled when my sweeties were little so I am posting :)

We don't follow the schedule exactly (of course). Things are happily always always coming up and I don't include our extracurricular activities like dance, swimming, gymnastics, etc. And many times we just don't keep the schedule - I love structure and think it's good for kids, too, so it's just something we strive to do when we can.

Our Happy HAPPY Girl!

So, I am computer-less for a little bit...my computer crashed :( So just word posts for a little bit until a May Post explosion (we've been having a blast this month :)

Now, about my happy baby that I am so inlove with...

I can't tell you how many people comment on Emily's happy face. Really, I have never met such a happy baby. She smiled so early in life and just really hasn't stopped since. Even when she is mad because she is hungry she'll give me a smile. Oh my - I just LOVE it! She just is a little cutie of great joy! Last week at the doctor, the nurses there just couldn't get over how happy Emily was (and they see babies all day long every day :) They were passing Emily around and they were all going off on how they just couldn't believe how happy Emily was. I am so blessed to have my sweet little Ems!

SUCCESS!!!!!!

SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was just on cloud 9 last week - SOOOOOOOOO proud of my big girl! She is 100 percent potty-trained!!!! It's been a long road. But one day last week it just ALL CLICKED and she never had an accident day OR night since that lovely day! Yes, she potty-trained day and night just in one day (well, we've been working on it for a long time (like a year on-and-off but one day she decided that she wanted to do it and did it - I needed to be more patient waiting for that day). SUCCESS to Angela also for being so much better with Emily. She still has a way to go - but I have been SOOO proud of her progress! You go, Angela!!

Here Angela is holding her arms up saying "YAY!!!" I love this Success Picture of my little snuggle-bug!

3 Months!

I think I'm the luckiest girl in the world that I get to hang out with this little bundle of joy all day(along with the other 2 sweeties of mine). This girl is a non-stop smiler :) I can get her to smile at me just about any time...even when she is upset because she's hungry or something. What a little angel I have!

Maybe you've noticed by now, but in just about every picture I have of Angela lately she's holding one of her lip-glosses.

Our Magic Tree House Adventures!

So, Carolyn and I (and Angela is liking joining in at times, too :) are obsessive about the Magic Tree House series! So, we decided it would be fun to make our own magic tree house that we can act out the adventures Annie and Jack have in their books. We have a ton of fun! I love that the girls appreciate my cheesy fun and love reading so I think I'm loving reading/acting out the books just as much as Carolyn and Ang-Banang :) I know, you all are so jealous of my mad box building skills ...hahaha, even though (thanks to me) the tree house is a bit sad looking the girls don't know the difference and love it.
