Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was soooo fun! We went to Chris and Janeil's house for the turkey dinner and the girls had a blast playing together! After we ate dinner, the men let Janeil and I get out for some "mom time" (what Katie liked us to call it) and see "Twilight" (I loved it!). We then slept over at their house and got up early for some good Christmas shopping! Later, we went bowling...it was a fun couple of days...the girls were exhausted after all of the fun!

My Beauties

The girls got their Christmas pictures taken last week; I got a package of my "favorite pose" of them with my little coupon and was so disapointed that I couldn't get individual pictures of them (I just couldn't bring myself to pay the price they asked for for additional pictures; I did get a great deal on my package so I really can't complain!!). Anyways, I decided to bring the girls home and do my own little photo-shoot. They weren't too happy when the camera came out; we may try another photo-shoot later!

Cute update about the girls....a lot of times when Angela cries, Carolyn will run over to her and say, "Don't cry...don't cry...Carolyn's here now." Then she'll give her hugs and kisses and try to make her laugh.

Date Night

This picture was taken right before Carolyn's date with Daddy. I can't tell you how adorable it is to watch the two of them walk away to the car for their date hand-in-hand with Carolyn's other hand holding a purse.

Our First Christmas Party of the Season!

Today we celebrated the 50 Day Countdown to Christmas. Mostly the party consisted of painting Christmas pictures to decorate the house with and dancing dressed up like Cinderella and a duck (Carolyn's idea...:) to some Christmas music. 50 Day Countdown Parties always bring me back to the old days. It was at a 50 Day Countdown that I threw with my roomies at BYU when Andrew first realized that he liked me...
The past two days Angela has had her first little cold :( She's been tough and still smiles through it all...

Halloween

Our sweet and adorable Cheerleader

Our sweet and adorable Cinderella

The weekend before Halloween, we spent two nights in a row going to ward Halloween parties with Chris and Janeil's family. Here are two cuties at one of the parties. Angela loves that daddy of hers.
Carolyn just loves Anna and Katie! Here are the two Cinderellas holding hands :) Thanks for the costume, Ponka and Nana!
Here is the cute little crew!! You can tell why the girls get along so well! Princess, princess, princess! Troy's cute pirate costume won a contest at our ward's party...we love having family near.
This was the cake I made for our ward's cake walk. I got the idea from my very talented cake-maker sister, Michelle. Unfortunately, it didn't make it to the party - it sorta all fell apart...woops!
On Halloween, the cuties got together and did a little trick-or-treating at a Retirement Home. Don't you just want to kiss Angela's cute cheeks?
Carolyn is such a good helper around the house (or maybe she just likes to get into her character). Today she looked at the table and told me it was dirty so she needed to clean it; she found a little rag herself and got right to work. Oh, how I love my girls!
Carolyn had so much fun trick-or-treating! Daddy taught her how to say "trick-or-treat" really loudly when people would answer the door; everyone thought she was cute. It's fun because this is the first year that she actually likes sweets, but not just any - it has to be chocolate.
