This morning when I was fixing Emily's hair, I asked her if I could put piggy-tails in her hair. She said, "No, then everyone will say that I look cute."

Tonight at our family nightly devotional, I shared my testimony of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I shared that just as Moroni promised that if we prayed to know the Book of Mormon is true that we can have that confirmation, it is true about the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. After I put the girls to bed, Angela came and found me and shared with me that she had prayed to know if the church is true. She said she felt the spirit a little bit and felt that it was true. She said she thought about how Jesus died for her. She said she thought about how she doesn't always feel like going to church, but once she goes there, she feels happy.

Angela's experience made me cry. It is making me cry as I type. How wonderful is the gift of the Holy Ghost that we can come to know our Heavenly Father and our Savior and His true church upon the earth. Thank you Angela for helping me to feel the spirit so strong as you shared your experience with me. What a beautiful testimony and experience.

Today I was in the toy room taking care of Tommy. Emily was sitting at the kitchen table right next to the toy room. I had given her a bowl of rice with milk (rice and milk is one her favorites)...I looked over at the table and saw her putting cinnamon in her bowl of rice and milk and I said, "Did you put sugar in it, too?" Emily replied, "I put two in it and it tastes delightful."

Just when I thought not a lot of moments could surpass yesterday's laugh with Tommy...Today Emily was talking to Tommy. He was sitting in his carseat and I was watching them talk because getting Tommy out. Emily was talking to him and he was "coo"ing back at her. Then he laughed at her. Amazing.

Today Tommy laughed for the first time!!!! Sweetest sound!!!!

I was outside of the girls' bedroom. Carolyn, Angela, and Emily were cleaning their room and I sitting outside talking to Tommy. I poked his nose a few times while smiling and talking to him. He smiled really big and let out a little laugh. One of the best ever!

The girls came out and of course did all they could to get him to laugh again. We sure are so inlove with Tommy. I don't think he could be in a home where he was loved more.

Flashbacks and more!!! :)

Emily and I will often go to a park after dropping Carolyn and Angela off at school. We started "Obstacle Courses" this week. We think of tricky and various things for Emy to do around the park and then time her to see how fast she can do it. She loves it.

 A few months ago we added to our Nightly Family Devotional "Name the Prophet." Who ever is conducting for that night picks someone to describe a prophet and we figure out which prophet they are talking about. A neat way to hear things our prophets guide us with (like tonight the prophet was President Kimball so we talked all about "DO IT" and lengthening our strive) as well as build our testimonies of Latter-Day prophets.

 Emily is pretty much obsessed with games. We play A. LOT. of games :)

 Flashback of one the very best days of my life...the day Tommy was born!

 Tommy was named "Snoopy" when he was in my tummy. We still call him "Snoopy" sometimes.

 Field Day at Mortensen Elementary School. Finally, a school that does a real Field Day!! RACES!!! Kids get placed. Finally, what we have been wanting :)

 We haven't ever bought school pictures...but Angela sure looked BEAUTIFUL going into picture day!!! :) :)
