Crying of Happiness!

I really am close to laughing so hard I cry...or wet my pants or something when I think about this. It makes me laugh at random times in my life and I just get hysterical.

Anyways, This picture Angela drew about 3 weeks ago:

Hahahaha, Okay. Okay. So, about 3 weeks ago Angela comes up to me and surprises me (as she always so sweetly does) with a beautiful picture. She showed me the picture and went on to explain that the girls in the picture where so happy they were crying.

I am never going to stop laughing about this. Never.

Carolyn's Savings...

Each week (well...that's the ideal) we give our little girlies their allowance. The girls choose to pay their tithing first and then put half of their earnings in their Mission/College Fund. The rest..."fun money." Anyways, Carolyn has been saving for a while now...even with birthday money and other random money given to her has been put forth into saving for something big. She told me what that big something is today...a doll for Emily for Christmas. She doesn't want it to be a cheap doll, but a really expensive and nice doll. If you know Emily, you know that probably 1/8 of her day is spent taking care of dolls and pushing them around in her strollers.

What more can I say?

Emily amazes me. I love our chats together. At night, we read together (knows a lot of her ABCs) and talk and then "snuggle a minute." Exactly how Emily says it, "Snuggle a minute." We snuggle and she usually asks and gets soft tickles. I also love - just love - hearing about her happy part of the day and sad part of the day. Today she said her sad part was, "I messed up Angela Sorry Game." It was so heartbreaking but completely amazing to me that she said that. I had no idea that Emily really picked up the fact that when she was just trying to play and help and put some "guys" on the board, it messed up Angela's "guys." You said your happy part was "Nursery...fruit loops." Apparently fruit loops is on the Nursery Menu. I love my "snuggle a minute" time - what a sweety.
Tonight while I was putting Angela to sleep, I got all teary-eyed and started to cry. I was singing, "I love you, Angela" like I do every night...and I was just so overwhelmed with love her her. I am so blessed to have her and will have to cherish each time I get to sing "I Love You" because I do not have a lot more days to sing to her before she leaves for college. I love my little Angel.

Carolyn's Bday! Of course, our silly Carolyn wanted a "silly" themed party :) She loves being silly and making people laugh.

Carolyn's teacher, Ms. Stoffler, came up to me last week and said:

"Carolyn is the most spiritual child I have ever taught. When she talks in centers or makes comments she is so intune to God. She always brings it back to what it is all about."

Ms. Stoffler has been teaching for 28 years.

Carolyn's 7th Birthday!!
