For the past 3 years we have had a tradition that we buy something(s) new for Christmas decoration after Thanksgiving. We were at the store and was thinking we should buy an Advent Calendar to count down to Christmas. Carolyn (being the crafter that she is) wanted us to MAKE it - not buy it. I wasn't too excited (to be honest) about making one...but Carolyn talked me into it and I ended up loving my time with the girls working on the calendar and LOVE the outcome. It is made by us and means to much to us! Plus, we added a scripture about our Savior that we can read each day as we put up our piece on our calendar each day in December!
