The girls are so awesome at helping me with my calling in Young Womens. One night we had an activity where the Young Women were learning how to crochet octopuses to donate to the hospital for babies. Here Emily is helping me make octopus cupcakes...
Learning Time with Mom - Emily writing a journal entry for time with mommy. I get to write journal entries with her :)
Emily rocking it at gymnastics....
For spring break and General Conference, we did a quick trip to Springville, UT to visit Ponka and Nana and Great Grandma. Here we are at the Bean Museum in Provo :)
Tommy is to say the least is OBSESSED with animals. He was inlove with the museum.
We love that we got to spend time with Nana!
Love this picture. Best daddy ever.
Ponka put up a swing for Tommy while we were there. Tommy was in heaven while swinging!
Ponka and Ponka's house is the best :)
Reading with Nana :)
We LOVE Great Grandma!!!!
And love Nana and Ponka. Look at all those big smiles. We loved being at their house for Spring Break!
Back at home. Date with Andrew and me. I beat him at Wii Bowling. You've just got to document things like this when you are me.
I love how the girls set up a bed in the tub and brought Tommy into read.
For Easter, the girls made lots of Studio C skits. I love these girls. They are awesome.
Egg Roll!!
I beat the "Jannie Killer" which is all I care about each year :) And it was a close competition. Emily won FIRST place with Angela close behind in second.
The cute winner!!!
We got "Disney Apples to Apples" for Easter. One of our favorite things to do as a family is play games. Emily made us giggle with her winning cards :)
I love our FHEs as a family. What a blessing it is to have the counsel to have FHE. I love this lesson Angela came up with on her own about following in the Savior's footsteps.
In the lesson, we discussed what the Savior did and how we can follow Him.
As a family, we set a goal to learn a new skill around the home each week. It doesn't always happen every week but I love when it does. Here everyone is learning how to properly clean a wood floor :)
Even Tommy put himself to work.
Angela's journal entry on what she remembers about her baptism. This was for an FHE lesson.
Angela and Carolyn did choir this year!!! It was a little crazy being in it with all the stuff these girls had going on this school year. They sounded beautiful and we are so blessed to be in a school where everything done is amazing.
Carolyn was Ariel at her school play. This is a HUGE deal. The play is incredible. The time and money and effort the students and directors put into the play is almost just ridiculous. They have professionals come in to help with acting coaching, lighting, the set-up, voice lessons, etc. Just not your normal school play. The news was there and I am just telling you it was such a humbling honor for Carolyn to be Ariel. And she was AMAZING. She worked so hard and improved SOOO much. Play practice was atleast 6 hours a week for four and a half months. She also would go in more hours than that for voice coaching. It was a lot of hard work and the art teacher, music teacher and two administrators at the school just give it their ALL!!! We feel so blessed to be apart of it!
She did so great at the performance. Made her daddy cry. We were so blessed to have SO many people come support her. Andrew's parents flew out to see the play. My parents flew out to see the play. Great Grandma flew out to see the play. We sold over 50 tickets to friends and family. In Carolyn's patriarchal blessing it said that so many love her and that was so felt by all the support she had in the performances. We felt so blessed.
We are so proud of Carolyn!
It was fun to be with her at school because she was like a celebrity there :) One time we were looking for someone in the school and I walked in the cafeteria with Carolyn. As soon as she walked in, a BUNCH of girls screamed "Ariel" and ran over to give her a hug. I love how Carolyn responded to her fan letter (below).
Everyone that came out to the play got to see our very own soccer star, Emily Kim!!! She scored for all to see. It's been a fun soccer season for her. So fun to have family there to cheer our soccer girl on!
All her adoring fans!!!!
We are so proud of our soccer girl!
How blessed we are to have such amazing family to support our girl!
Great Grand giving Angela a kiss after her amazing performance. How lucky we are to have Great Grandma there!
Crazy girl's birthday!!!! We love our girl!
Emily's big kindergarten graduation :)
She was to say the least absolutely adorable!!!
Andrew and I got to go to a parents' night to see our gymnast show off her skills!! We Love our Angie!! So proud of her!
So proud of our girl. She brought tears to our eyes. She just couldn't be cuter and more amazing we thought :)
So many fans. One night she had 25 activity day girls there to watch!
She had fans come up and want to take pictures with her. I felt like we were at Disney World :)
SO proud of my Ariel. We always joke when we go to the store or library or really anywhere about how Carolyn's face is ALL over the place. Seriously, everyone must have seen and loved her winning performance because her face is all over the place!
