Gobble! Gobble! THANKSgiving!

Last Sunday, our little family fasted for Angela's speech. It was a really neat experience. I loved the experience of fasting for our sweet girl and then Andrew gave her a beautiful blessing. Heavenly Father made Angela special that she needs to work on her speech. The way she learns is for a special reason.

We are recognizing when the Holy Ghost speaks to us each day. Here are some of the experiences the girls have shared:

Carolyn: Led me to help a girl at school. I asked her if I could hold her pencil case.

Angela: Felt warm inside when saying a prayer.

Carolyn: I was heading to school after hopping out of the car and the Holy Ghost said, "Stop! Say 'Goodbye' to your mom. She did.

Angela: The Holy Ghost told me to help mom bring the groceries inside! I did it and felt warm inside.

The girls came up with amazing inspirations they want to listen for during General Conference! We talked about how we feel the spirit and how the Holy Ghost talks to us during Conference. The girls came up with amazing lists of what they want to learn from Conference. Here is a list they came up with ON THEIR OWN:

Carolyn: Play more nicely, Pray when I 'm mean

Angela: Stop Screaming, Be nice to people, Love Mom, Say Prayers to Heavenly Father, Say sorry when I scream, Help Carolyn feel better when she is sick

What sweet lists they cam up with on their own! And it gets sweeter. Carolyn is doing an inspiring job at taking notes during Conference she got her pen and wrote down amazing things. Angela is drawing pictures if what she hears the speakers talk about.

Conference Goals:

Carolyn: Read scriptures every morning and night.

Angela: Brush teeth and read scriptures
