Today Carolyn's class each had a memory book of 2nd grade. In it, each of the students picked out students in the class for titles such as "Most Athletic," etc. When I was in the classroom today, one of the students in the class told me that Carolyn was put down the most for "Class Clown." Carolyn said a bunch of others put her as "Best Writer" and where she put herself as well. I love her love of writing. And that she loves being silly.
Today I got to go on a Field Trip with Carolyn! We went to the Museum of Discovery in Ft. Collins. It was so fun - my group was Carolyn and two of her best friends - Kaycee and Summer! It was such a fun group and I loved that I got to go! We played instruments there, had cool shadow pictures, felt a tornado - it was so fun. On the way home, we rode with Carolyn's good friend, Joey, and his mom. It was such a fun day. Love that I got to spend so much fun time with Carolyn and good friends.
I love having Andrew home a little more around. Tonight I had a quick meeting for my calling. Then, we all snuggled in the girls bed and watched "Care Bears." My analogy that I shared with the family was this...In the movie the carebears had to work together to fight an evil spirit. My thoughts? Just as the carebears had to use their special powers to fight the evil spirit...we work together with the spiritual gifts we have been given to fight against the Adversary. Andrew made fun of me for taking that out of the movie - but I hold strong to my thoughts!! :) Haha!
We got it! Today Angela was crying and upset. She told me the way she can feel better is if she was looking at this picture of our Savior hanging on the wall. If she looks at it, she feels like she can remember Him and feel better again.
I literally cried today at school. I was dropping Angela off at school. We were outside in the Kindergarten area when we abnormally saw Carolyn outside playing. Angela ran over exclaiming, "Carolyn! Carolyn!" To which, Carolyn looked up from the bar she was hanging on in the playground. She immediately got off the bar and ran to her sister. They were both running for each other. Once together, they wrapped their arms around each other and gave each other the biggest bear hug ever. Carolyn even lifted Angela off the ground. It literally made me cry. It was such a beautiful moment of love.

Carolyn got this journal for her baptism. She was sharing her testimony with us on why she wanted to be baptized. It was beautiful. We decided to let her break the journal out a little early so she could write her testimony of why she wants to be baptized. She is so ready and has been so amazingly preparing herself for it. She's been setting goals to improve herself, praying, and reading scriptures, serving others, sharing her testimony with us and others, being a missionary, etc. I am so happy for this beautiful and amazing girl.

Oh - how we love garden season!!!

The Girls' Pumpkin Patch (they are completely in charge of weeding/watering/caring for their garden on one side of the yard (Pumpkins and carrots are in their garden)
We also did...lots of corn, lots of grape and big tomatoes, lettuce, onions, more carrots, zuchinni

We love that the Crawfords come over every year to help plant. We also love sharing with them as well after all their help :) Eli and Cole helping.
After planting the garden, the Crawford kids came over and we watched Horse Races. Then we played Wii (Angela and Carolyn got it for their birthdays). It was fun. Unfortunately, I couldn't beat Andrew at tennis or boxing :( But don't worry...I will own it. Soon. :)
